Almost all families own a motor car these days and in some families they might own two or even more. We all rely on the convenience of having a motor car but the problem is where to park. If you have a house that has a garage or even a twin garage (Doppelgarage) then you do not need to leave your car out on the road at night. However, the majority of people even though they have a garage never put their car in the garage.

They prefer to leave it on the drive or out on the road for a quick getaway in the morning. Maybe it's because the garage is full of junk or gardening tools, toys or they use the garage for other purposes like housing a washing machine and dryer. In this case wouldn’t it be a fantastic reason to build a twin garage. In families where there are two or even more cars a twin garage is the perfect solution. Of course, some houses don't have room at the side to build even one garage so they don't have any option but to park on the road. It is always a big selling point for any property if it has a garage or room to build a garage. A property which has a twin garage is even more desirable.

Motor cars are here to stay and every year more and more people learn how to drive. Parking is a big problem where ever you go not to mention the cost of parking at some places. The motor car has transformed our lives and made it so easy to get places quickly. What would take a full day to get somewhere by bus can be reached within an hour or two by car. When the car breaks down it is a major disaster as we rely on our car so much. It is hard to believe that sixty years ago hardly anyone owned a car and nearly everyone went to work on the bus, tram or even walked. Today people travel bigger distances to get to work so having a motor car is essential for many people. Even today though some people cycle to work to try and keep fit.
