On November 8, 2009 hundreds of Jewish leaders will meet in San Francisco for a conference featuring innovators from energy industry, investment, sustainability, and policy. They will share ideas and experiences that will advance the generational movement for clean and secure energy.
A keynote plenary session will elaborate the necessity for the Jewish community's leading role in the movement for clean and secure energy to promote economic development, bolster national security, and improve the quality of life on the planet.
Break-out sessions will explore environmental stewardship, economic opportunity, policy reform, U.S.-Israel security through cleantech collaboration, and the elimination of oil from our transportation sector.
A marketplace will showcase leading clean energy initiatives and suggest concrete ways that conference participants can advance clean and secure energy.
A webcast will stream the conference to Jewish audiences around the globe to maximize impact and participation.
Live events will be hosted concurrently by other AJC/ACCESS chapters around the U.S. and in Tel Aviv. Other individuals and communities are also invited to host viewing parties, which can be used to jump start their own local initiatives.
A celebratory networking reception will follow the conference, featuring VIP speaker, live entertainment, and refreshments.
